Our kids think what we want most from them in school is to bring back good grades, but as parents, what we want most is for our kids to become kind adults. I know this is true with me. Yes, I want my son to follow his dreams (right now he wants to be an asteroid miner), and I know good grades are important, but what is most essential to me is that he learns to treat others with kindness, and respect, to cultivate relationships that thrive, to always give empathy and time to himself and finally… to leave the world better than he was born into it. Our kids will be kind, our kids will make the world a better place, and kids will be empowered with the most essential tool any human may ever have - Empathy.
