“When we went back to Korea, he really missed life here and kept saying he wanted to come back.”
Kim
A school they wanted to return to
Kim first came to Empathy School from Korea with her nine-year-old son for one term. Looking for a more natural way for him to experience English, she found that the school was also a good fit for his active personality and love of movement.
Her son embraced life beyond the classroom, spending time outdoors picking fruit, catching fish and playing with rabbits. After returning to Korea, he missed the experience so much that the family decided to come back during winter break.
Kim also highlights the Parents Circle, which helped her feel part of the school community herself, and Nature Scholar, the weekly enrollment program through which her son first experienced Empathy School.
In their own words
When we went back to Korea, he really missed life here and kept saying he wanted to come back.
